Town Manager Kevin Sweet and Recreation Director Jeff Plympton are pleased to announce that Sweatt Beach will be opening for the summer season on May 25!
Sweatt Beach will officially open to the public on May 25 and will be open on weekends only until June 8. After June 8, the beach will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.
Community members should note that under Sweatt Beach’s policy, Sweatt Beach will be open only to residents of Wrentham, Norfolk, Plainville and Franklin.
Those wishing to use the Sweatt Beach facility have to pay for daily passes, cash or credit card is accepted. Rates include:
- Adult 16+………………….$7.00
- Child…………………………$5.00
Entrance for children under two years old and Wrentham senior citizens is free.
Seasonal family passes are available for $250 for Wrentham residents only and are only available for purchase online at: https://wrenthamma.myrec.com/info/default.aspx
The beach is staffed with a lifeguard during its hours of operation.
The beach closes for the season on Aug. 25.
