What can be shredded?
- Paper
What can’t be shredded? Anything that is not paper including:
- binders
- large binder clips
- metal objects (small paper clips and staples are okay)
- cardboard boxes
- plastic
- anything that is not paper
- CD’s
- electronics (thumb drives, hard drives)
- credit cards
Through our waste hauler, E.L. Harvey, the Town will be offering a town wide shredding day for all residents. This day is a chance for residents to bring up to four boxes of paper for shredding on site in the Town Hall parking lot. The materials will be dumped into a tote and once the tote is full the contents will be shredded on site providing for secure disposal of papers.
