Repairs to the water main on West Street (Route 121) at the intersection of Riverside Drive have been completed, and the road has reopened to traffic.
Due to asphalt plants being closed, permanent paving cannot be completed at this time. The repaired section has been compacted with temporary material until paving can occur.
During the upcoming storm, MassDOT has advised that traffic will be reduced to one lane in this area to prevent disturbance of the unpaved roadway.
