Officer Pellegrini named School Resource Officer

Daniel “Eric” Pellegrini will begin as the new School Resource Officer (SRO) for the 2018 school year.   Officer Pellegrini joined the Wrentham Police Department in 2015 from the Medfield Police force where he worked for six years. During his tenure in Wrentham, Officer Pellegrini has had the distinction of serving as Motorcycle Officer, Mountain Bike Officer, Firearms Instructor and Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Instructor.  Since 2011 Pellegrini has served on the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (MetroLEC) where he is currently a member of the motorcycle unit. Officer Pellegrini graduated from Bridgewater State University and is a U.S. Marine Iraq War Veteran.  Officer Pellegrini will be attending SRO class later this fall.  His office will be located at King Philip High School.   Officer Pellegrini hopes to begin offering RAD classes to the community in January or February 2019.
