WRENTHAM — Town Administrator Kevin Sweet and Recreation Director Jeffrey Plympton are pleased to announce that the Town of Wrentham will be hosting its 38th Annual Wrentham Day and 5K Wroad Wrace.

Saturday, Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
WHERE:
Wrentham Town Common, One Franklin St.
WHAT:
The 38th Annual Wrentham Day and 5K Wroad Wrace will feature live music, activities, local vendors, Touch-a-Truck, food and beverage, and more! Special guest Benjamin the Clown will also be in attendance. Wrentham Day is a family-friendly event that is free for all to attend.
The 5K road race will begin at the Wrentham Town Common, proceed down Taunton Street, and turn around on Taunton Street to finish back at the Wrentham Town Common.
Runners can pre-register online here for $25 by Sept. 8 or register for $30 at the event entrance on the day of the race.
Following the race, runners will be given refreshments including water, Gatorade, bananas and pizza. Refreshments are sponsored by Eaglebrooke Saloon.
The race is sanctioned by USA Track and Field and will be timed and scored by Second Wind Racing. The top three male and female winners will receive a cash prize.
“We would like to invite all Wrentham community members to attend the 38th Annual Wrentham Day and 5K Wroad Wrace,” said Recreation Director Jeff Plympton. “We are looking forward to another wonderful event to wrap up the summer season.”
Wrentham’s Center Lot, at the corner of Rte. 1A and Rte. 140 in Downtown Wrentham will be temporarily open for parking during the event.
Vendors
All vendors that wish to participate must create an account online and fill out an application.
Vendors are responsible for setting up and supplying their own tents, tables, etc.
