WRENTHAM — Town Manager Kevin Sweet and Director of Planning and Economic Development Rachel Benson are pleased to recognize local Wrentham businesses throughout National Small Business Week.
National Small Business Week, which takes place from April 28 to May 4, celebrates the value of small businesses across the nation and encourages residents to shop locally.
The Town of Wrentham will be highlighting some of its small businesses this week on social media.
“Small businesses are the heartbeat of our economy, fueling innovation and driving growth,” said Director Benson. “Let’s celebrate their resilience, creativity and all they have to offer our community.”
Wrentham’s Business Development Guide explains the process of opening and expanding different types of small businesses in the Town, as well as includes important contacts for business owners.
“I encourage Wrentham residents to shop locally this week in support of our small businesses, as we celebrate National Small Business Week,” said Town Manager Sweet. “Your patronage has the greatest impact on our community’s economic health and vitality. Together we can show our support to our neighbors.”

The U.S. Small Business Administration offers resources for small businesses such as free business counseling, SBA-guaranteed business loans, home and disaster business loans and federal government contracting.
